The festive season is upon us. As we all know, this is a time for joy, celebrations, and happiness. But be warned, because the minister of Transport is not smiling with you this festive season.
According to news sources, Transport Minister Dipuo Peters revealed that South African hospitals do not have the capacity to deal with all the injuries suffered on the roads during the festive season, so people must be responsible and try by all possible means to avoid causing accident.
“We have received information that the Kruger National Park is running out of food supplies for the animals. We therefore warn all South Africans to not drink and drive this festive season and beyond. Otherwise, we will be left with no option but to feed those who are found drinking and driving to the lions, because the lions are hungry and people are busy being irresponsible.” said Minister Peters.
It is still unclear if the people will be fed to the lions flame grilled or not. But Minister Peters advised people to stay at home if they want to drink, or rather get someone who does not drink to drive them if the need to go somewhere.
